Make A Difference

As we prepare to wrap-up our 2015 Annual Support Campaign, I would like to remind you of how your actions can make a huge difference in the lives of Joe & Mary Mottino Family YMCA members-especially those who would not normally have an opportunity to participate in, and benefit from, all that we offer. The act of donating your talents, time, and/or monetary gifts makes a big difference in the halls of our YMCA and in our community.

Our volunteers who contribute their talents in the form of coaching youth sports, for example, leave lasting impressions on our program participants through their examples of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication.

Volunteers who donate their time to our administrative team and special events committee provide behind-the-scenes support to ensure top-notch daily service to our members and to create memorable experiences for all who support the YMCA in its philanthropic pursuits.

Our Annual Support Campaign volunteers give of their talents, time, and, in may cases, their own monetary gifts to ensure the success of the Campaign. This year, we have 123 volunteers who have accepted the challenge of Campaign, volunteering their time in asking others to donate, sending letters and making phone calls, spreading the word about the YMCA’s mission, and generously donating to our cause. Without the work of these 123 people, we could not provide a place for all to belong.

I am in awe of the power of volunteerism and the dedication of our current volunteers who serve. Without these individuals, the YMCA could not achieve what it does on a daily basis. If you want to make a difference, please consider joining us!

What you do DOES make a difference in the lives of our YMCA family!
